After a year-long break from blogging (and pinning, and face booking and tweeting), Lydia and I are back with a vengeance! After a completely insane year at Marks & Frantz (insane in the best way) we are back on the social media vortex and we are blogging, pinning and tweeting our hearts out as we have so much to share from our year of abstinence! Our goal this year is not to just post about things we love, but also to share lots of project-in-progress, before-and-afters and tons of detail info about all the custom work that we are doing with our beloved workrooms and artisans on behalf of our clients.
And since we are currently in the middle of a polar vortex in NYC, what better post to start the year off with than my home away from home…..Aspen! My beloved Frantz family home is sorely in need of a makeover, it’s been 20 years and it’s starting to look a little shabby! When we bought the place in 1995, the town was still rocking the antler chandeliers and rock face fireplaces, but times have changed out west. Inspired by Vogue’s images of Aerin Lauder’s Aspen home and Schumacher’s Luxe Lodge collection of woven fabrics, I’ve decided that this is the year to revive that house….at least on paper, a girl can dream, right?
